Turvan Hotel - Istanbul

The location proved perfect, just a short walk from iconic sites.

I encountered significant issues . The bathroom cleanliness was alarming, with mold evident in various areas. I was disappointed by the breakfast setup, where I noticed the staff reusing dirty glasses.

Room was beautifully decorated and cheap and fairly clean.

Breakfast with expired products. Efficient staff with smiles. Particularly good and magnificent location and walking distance to a tram station.

The staff of the hotel are very friendly, especially the manager at day time and the staff at the buffet room. This is something I liked most about the hotel. They are very responsive, too, to any problems that the guests may face. I also liked the cozy environment of the hotel. The room is clean and is made-up regularly. I have found the rate very reasonable compared to other hotels of the same standard. They also have offers for different sight seeing trips at reasonable prices. The location of the hotel is very convenient. There are a number of restaurants close to Turvan, yet it is free from outside chaos as it is a bit far from traffic ways. Most importantly, the Bosporus straight is only five minutes away from the hotel. The tram station is three mins away. And most of the touristy places such as Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, Archeological museum are within walking district.

The lift of the hotel is too small. The breakfast is everyday the same. There should be a toaster at buffet. And eggs should be prepared in different ways, not just boiled only.

Great location near major attractions and a complimentary breakfast that exceeded my expectations. The staff was helpful, and while the room was basic, it had a clean and cozy atmosphere. Some amenities could use updates.

I had an very nice experience staying here! The breakfast spread was good, with fresh cheeses and vegetables, made my mornings special. The location proved perfect, just a short walk from iconic sites like the Hagia Sophia.

I loved the friendly staff, Helpfull and the hospitality was excellent. The price I paid and service we got was so worth-it. The delicious breakfast we got every morning was the best. I highly reccomand Turvan hotel to everyone who is not to sure weather to pick this hotel or not. The staff try there best to help you in every way and if you ask for there help they give full services. Don't think just book :)

Had a very nice stay for 2 nights, glad I've chosen it. A lot of food for breakfast, it was lovely! Everyone was accommodating and excellent. The location was very central, close enough to many touristic places and the center amongst popular restaurants. I was surprised at nearby Gulhane Sur Cafe, they had some goodies, drinks.

The staff were very helpfull specially Khadija and the location was very close to the monuments you don't need to take any transportation.

The location's bang on, heaps close to everything, but mate, the bathroom could really do with some love, eh? Breakfast was decent, though!

Truvan Hotel is in heart of Istanbul, near to the most historic monuments (Sultanahmet, Aya Sofia, Egyptian Bazaar ...) and also near to all means of transport (Metro station, train, ferry terminal) . The heritage of the Hotel is it staff who is the most kindest, understanding and friendly in the world. Both 2 men and a women who are in office, still trying to make your stay enjoyable in Istanbul, for their recommendations, advice.s ... to visit Istanbul, and even takes care of your reservations for other activities of the city as the evening of the dervishes. And i shouldn't forget the assistants Sami & Brahim, who are always ready to help you with a pleasant smile;

the hotel was quiet and absolutely incredible with caring employees despite the sleazy manager. the favourable and incredible location was near bahnhof istanbul sirkeci. the area was tourist, a perfect place for me. overall i appreciated the stay and do recommend.

The experience was dampened by significant cleanliness issues, notably in the bathrooms with mold and required urgent maintenance-definitely not cool. I also dealt with inconsistent hot water. Not something you want after a long day of exploring. The breakfast area had visible signs of neglect, including a torn ceiling across from the dining tables which posed a safety concern. The hotel's vibe felt tired and in need of serious upgrading.

Oh mate, the freshly baked cookies hit the spot! Plus, the friendly staff during check-in helped brighten my day amidst the chaos. I gotta say, the local dining gems nearby, like Ozbolu Kebap just a stone's throw away, made it nice!

The location is excellent, near Topkapi, Sofia, Grand Bazaar and close to Galata bridge. Also it is close to good transport such as train and tram. The price was very cost effective for this location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was internet in the room. There were good nearby cafes and shops.

Be careful about extras such as shuttle buses, the market rate is 10 euro from Sabiha Gokcen airport, they may try to charge much more. There were a few small problems such as a short powercut and a few things not maintained in the room, probably the hotel is slightly in need of updating, but for the price and location it represents good value.
